ZAMFARA: Twin sisters kidnapped, N100m demanded by abductors

Tragedy stroke on Wednesday as a set of twin sisters were kidnapped in zamfara state. The two sisters were just about to get married and have gone to see their family members at their home town Dauran from the state capital Gusau where they stay with their  brothers and step mum.

The 2 twins sisters were abducted along with some other 2 girls from the house they slept that fateful night. Dauran town is in Zurmi local area less than 100km from that state capital of the state.

This medium www.myzamfaraonline.com learnt that the abducted girls are said to be orphans of late Alh Bala (Dangaladiman Dauran) a former retired Dep Director finance Min of Agric and their mother too has also passed away.  The 2 girls and younger brothers were  living under the guardianship of a brother who is also struggling to make ends meet.

The social media in zamfara is awashed with pictures of the beautiful girls who are currently at the hand s of the their abductors as the family send an save our soul (SOS) to the state government for help. The abductors are said to be demanding for a whooping sum of N100m before they can release them.

In recent times zamfara state communities has been suffering from strings of kidnappings for ransom. People of the state are calling on the FG to increase its deployment of troops to Zamfara to stem the tide of not only the local banditry but the current web of kidnappings bedeviling the state.
